Comprehensive PyPSA Training Session

In December 2024, an in-depth PyPSA training session equipped participants with vital advanced energy modeling skills. The training included five sessions: basic PyPSA concepts, installation tutorials, demo model building, an overview of the PyPSA ecosystem, and an introduction to PyPSA-Eur.

Participants learned PyPSA fundamentals, installed necessary tools like Conda and Jupyter Notebook, and built a demo model through live coding. They explored ecosystem tools, datasets, and community resources, and gained insights into PyPSA-Eur’s capabilities, data, and installation. Hands-on tutorials and Q&A sessions ensured practical knowledge, empowering attendees to effectively use PyPSA for power system modeling.
